Obituary for Michael M. Rusomaroff

April 17, 2001 - January 6, 2018
Indianapolis, Indiana | Age 16

Michael M Rusomaroff was to everybody exactly what they needed; which meant something different to each person. He began as a son, born on April 17, 2001 to his parents Vlademer and Michelle Rusomaroff, making him a little brother to Michaela Towles. Michael's parents divorced, but managed to co-parent Michael with their best efforts. Michael became a step brother to Kaileb Luyk after Michelle married Steven Luyk JR which provided Michael with a little brother, Garhett Luyk.
Michael had many supportive family members from the Rusomaroff to the Haworth-Luyk bunch. There was Clyde, Kelby and Payton Gaw, Maria, Terry and Steve Rusomaroff. Also Memaw and Pepaw Haworth, Grandma and Papaw Luyk, Darla Truelove, and David Towles.

We will remember him for his knack for cars, engines, and speed, or his fantastic way of detailing a car. Any car he touched will never be that clean again. Whenever he wasn't cleaning cars, he enjoyed finding old treasures at Goodwill and turning them into a new treasure. His latest passion was restoring and repairing bicycles.
Michael thoroughly enjoyed using his hands to work. He took great pride seeing the end project.

After attending preschool at Christ United Methodist Church, Michael attended Perry Township Schools until the eighth grade. He welcomed becoming apart of Suburban Christian School where he truly found his connection to a fantastic school family.

We loved Michael with all our hearts, but we know that wasn't enough to shield him from his inner struggles. To all children and teenagers, this is a simple reminder that there are people who love you, with everything they have and no matter what you do or think. Please don't be too afraid/ashamed/scared, too anything, to ask for help. Michael's struggles have ended but his love, friendship, humor will remain in our hearts forever. Michael is finally at peace. Don't be afraid or worried to tell great stories of Michael, share his love and humor he often expressed to everyone. We loved him and need to keep his spirit alive.

Michael found comfort in this verse prior to his passing. This brought comfort to the family, hopefully you can to:
Genesis 22:7- "And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father. And he said, Here am I, my son."

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Teen & Youth Suicide Prevention, Awareness, & Support in Michael's name please.
